We are two Brothers, Warren and Jerry Porter. We each have lived in Wisconsin with a background in Dairy Farming. We were born in the 1950's when things were so much more laid back and everyone seemed to go to Church. I, Warren especially remember that before TV over took family's social time that neighbors visited neighbors on a regular basis. We as an old timer once told me he even knew what the insides of everyone's closets were like, we were that close.

We were very self sufficient back then, needing little of what we now can't seem to get by without. As children we didn't have much but we did had much freedom to roam the wooded areas and pastures in search of  things to do. We were constantly making things from scrape wood such as tree houses and covered wagons. We even tried to build an electric motor powered helicopter, but when the machine almost flew apart due to being off balance our dad promptly put a stop to it. We learned to say please and thank you and we were not center stage as many children appear to be now days. We learned that if we succeeded at something it was worth the praise, we also understood if we did not succeed that it became a learning experience so we became stronger for it. If we spent our allowance unwisely we had to wait till next month to get more and just be without till then

We had a difficult time in the later 1950's when our mother passed away from Cancer, Jerry was 5 and I was 7. Her faith in the Lord was very strong and ours became as well from what she taught us during her time of  tribulation and what our dad instilled in us with his dedication to us. So many children are sheltered from the storms in life and then can't seem to cope as a result of loss.

We both Dairy farmed on our own then after a time Jerry went into manufacturing and heavy construction.  I left dairying after about 24 years and started a home inspection career due to a health related condition that I recovered from within a few years after leaving farming.

We both have inquisitive minds especially if there is a way to conserve energy or money. We built several hydrogen generators for cars and tested others designs as well. We have a circle of like minded friends that we bounce things off of as well, but it takes money to go beyond the drawing board. Alternative energy was something we have both been interested in for quite some time and are continuing to pursue. I have done quite a bit of research on what is called shelved technologies. This is alternative energy devises that were prevented from coming to market by competing industries. This is something that has been going on since the late 1800's. I have a CD that has over 800 patents of carburetor designs that were to increase mileage significantly but were all bought up. It even listed who bought them and  it is very surprising to see some of the company names that we are all used to doing business with. It is also truly amazing the numbers of people that have a family member or relative that this suppression  has happened to. It destroys the dreams of their life and usually breaks their spirits. Just look at what happened to Tesla. We are committed to forging ahead to help lower each of our costs to live.

We have discovered a new company that may soon reduce energy costs and once we know it will be emeerging will be promoting it.

We had a goal of supporting our Guard Your Place Affiliates and helping to make them successful but due to circumstances beyond our control have found that this is impossible due to no consistency or fulfilment of promisess of GYP management.   We will no longer be recommending to anyone to join this program as it became frustration to us and most of those we brought into the program.

Jerry and I wish  each one of you are best.
